Who Are We?

Based in the breathtaking foothills of Tititea, Mount Aspiring in New Zealand, our consultancy draws inspiration from the pristine beauty and rugged resilience of our surroundings, infusing our work with a spirit of innovation adaptability, and a commitment to preserving and protecting what matters most.

We are experts in dealing with risk and crises, from natural disasters to targeted online activities like scams and disinformation. Our might is in our global network – we can reach to leaders and experts in nearly every country of the world and, because they know we are here for good, they want to help us to find solutions.

What Are Our Values

At the core of our work lies a steadfast commitment to being trust custodians for our clients. We prioiritise transparency, integrity and empathy in our approach and we strive for excellence from the heart of our organisation.

Case Studies of projects delivered through our network

During the New Zealand Extreme Weather Events in 2023 there were a number of indicators of mis- and disinformation circulating during the crises that were likely to cause confusion to the impacted communities and longer term hinder their recovery from the tragedy of losing loved ones and homes. We conducted a rapid digital and offline assessment for our client and provides a recommended approach to communications and engagement and identified opportunities for immediate operational and longer-term strategic consideration.

Blue sky thinking is part of taking a conceptual approach to understanding the challenges and solving problems. We were invited to facilitate a workshop with global academic experts and those working hard to keep our online environments safe; together we unpicked the challenges of the contemporary information ecosystem to identify opportunities to ensure the right to free speech is balanced with thresholds of harms that are emerging online.
